The model Yield Hog Dividend Growth Portfolio posted a total return, including dividends, of 2.5 per cent in October, finishing the month with a value of $215,369.91

This represents a total return of about 115.4 per cent since inception on Oct. 1, 2017, or about 10 per cent on an annualized basis.

There were two dividend increases during the month. Fortis Inc. (FTS) raised its dividend by 4.1 per cent, marking 52 consecutive years of increases. Telus Corp. (T) hiked its dividend by 0.5 per cent.
