Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been formally stripped of his last royal titles as it is alleged his house move has been 'delayed' until early next year.

King Charles is said to have ordered Andrew's membership of the Order of the Garter to be cancelled, in addition to his Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order, the Sun reported.

The publication said orders for the titles to be stripped were published in the London Gazette at midday after it was agreed and announced at midday today (December 1).

Andrew had previously agreed to give up his Order of the Garter membership before this day.
