MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison snow plow crews will be out on the roads Monday as another round of snow is expected in the afternoon hours.
The City of Madison Streets Division said it is expected this system to only produce about one inch of snow, but it will still impact the evening commute.
Thirty-two plows will be out on the salt routes, applying salt and plowing the main arteries of Madison. Because only about an inch is expected, crews will not plow residential areas.
The Streets Division said these crews will be out through the evening commute and as long as it is necessary. Crews are also still working on cleanup efforts from the weekend storm.
Despite dropping temperatures, Streets Division staff noted salt should still be effective.
