An Arnprior resident has been arrested after allegedly striking two parked vehicles in Addington Highlands on the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, Lennox and Addington OPP received a traffic complaint about a northbound vehicle on Highway 41 moving at a high rate of speed and driving erratically.
Shortly afterwards, police received another call advising that the same vehicle had narrowly missed several pedestrians and struck two parked cars on Highway 41 in the community of Northbrook.
Police attended, and the driver was arrested.
Cohen Storie-Hein, a 21-year-old from Arnprior, was charged with:
• Operation while impaired – alcohol
• Failure or refusal to comply with demand
• Dangerous operation
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of
