Bayern Munich's honorary president Uli Hoeness has revealed that Harry Kane's release clause will expire at the end of January.
The Englishman is out of contract with the German giants in 2027, while reports of a release clause have sparked speculation he could depart the club next summer.
German outlet Bild previously reported that Kane's current deal contains a £57million release clause which comes into effect next summer.
The publication claimed the striker could leave Bayern next summer at a cut price - as long as he states his intention to leave before the end of the upcoming January transfer window.
He has been in red-hot form for the Bundesliga champions this season, with a staggering 24 goals in just 20 games.
