Truckee downhiller Bryce Bennett is taking a little extra baggage on the road while trying to qualify for his third Olympic Team.
He's a new dad. Bennett's wife, Kelley, and their daughter, Kate, will travel with him this season. Advertisement
"Kelley is going to come over, we're going to rent an apartment and spend a lot of time in Europe this winter, and the little baby is going to come over. Just going to live life and figure it out," says Bennett.
Bennett has been "figuring it out" since he was a teenage member of the U.S. Ski Team . At 33, he's spent 14 years on the team. He's had two World Cup wins and represented Team USA at two Olympic Games.
He started skiing at the age of 2 and, like a lot of Tahoe kids, has skiing in his blood. His mother, Mary, worked at Alpine Meadows,
