The Transportation Security Administration announced Monday that passengers who do not present an acceptable form of ID and still want to fly will have an option to pay a $45 fee "to use a modernized alternative identity verification system, TSA Confirm.ID, to establish identity at security checkpoints." According to a news release from the TSA, the use of TSA Confirm.ID and a $45 fee to use this identity verification will begin on Feb. 1.
