ROCK COUNTY, Wis. — A Florida man has plead guilty to a domestic assault that happened while he was in Beloit.

On Monday, 52-year-old Aaron Carter of Florida pleaded guilty to multiple felonies related to domestic violence and victim intimidation at a Rock County courthouse.

Carter was in Beloit on March 16, 2025, for a family funeral. It was said he got too intoxicated to attend the funeral and became angry at his child's mother.

Carter then reportedly spit in her face, punched her more than 30 times, threw hot food on her, strangled her, and kicked her until she was unconscious. He took her phone, wallet, and their child, before leaving the area.

Neighbors who heard the victim crying for help called 911.

Beloit Police rushed to the scene and found the victim in critical condition,
