PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio —
A man from Eaton, Ohio, has been indicted on voyeurism charges, accused of secretly recording two minors.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Preble County Sheriff Michael Simpson announced the indictment Monday of 37-year-old Joseph Wage Guthrie. Advertisement
Guthrie is charged with with one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and two counts of voyeurism, fifth-degree felonies.
Guthrie allegedly digitally recorded two minors in a place where the victims had an expectation of privacy.
Investigators said Guthrie is accused of secretly recording inside the bathroom of a house. No further details were released on what led to the incident.
The sheriff’s office said Guthrie is a trustee with Gasper Township.
