Boyle Heights —A man believed to be in his 30s was wounded in a Boyle Heights alley, authorities said today.
The man was sitting at 1:16 a.m. this morning in an alley at Fickett and Boulder streets when a vehicle approached him and someone inside fired gunshots at him, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance and had stable vital signs, he said.
Suspect information was not available.
In September, police shot and wounded armed suspect in the same area.
