Since the hiring Alex Golesh as Auburn football’s next head coach the million-dollar question has revolved around the retention of defensive coordinator DJ Durkin.
Durkin finished 1-2 in his time as the interim head coach following the firing of former coach Hugh Freeze. Golesh brought along majority of his offensive staff from the University of South Florida.
However, during Golesh’s introductory press conference there was a little uncertainty surrounding the defensive coordinator role.
