Rosemead’s pizza scene is rising thanks to the opening of a new pizza chain spot known for its “Mountain-sized” 20-inch pizzas.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza, a growing chain launched in 1978, opened its latest restaurant at 3588 Rosemead Blvd. The new 2,000-square foot place is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The menu includes specialty pizzas like The Everest, a combination of pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, linguica, beef, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers and onion, as well as the Pikes Peak. This pie is an all meat combo with Italian sausage, pepperoni, beef, salami, linguica and ham.
