Full list of UK areas affected by flood warnings and alerts as Met Office severe weather alerts in place

Heavy rain has hit most parts of the UK on Monday, December 1, with several Met Office alerts in place across the country.

Yellow weather warnings for rain are in place across North West England, including Greater Manchester, as well as parts of North East England, Scotland, South West England, Wales, and a more severe amber warning for rain is in place across parts of Wales including Swansea and Cardiff.

Alongside the Met Office weather warnings , there are currently six flood warnings in place across the UK. The Environment Agency issues flood warnings when "flooding is expected", and warns people in the affected areas to "act now". View 2 Images
