The New England Patriots did some roster maneuvering on Monday.
New England elevated offensive lineman Brenden Jaimes and defensive lineman Jeremiah Pharms Jr. from the practice squad just hours prior to its matchup with the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
James, 26, receives his second elevation of the season as injury/illness ravage the offensive line room. Will Campbell (knee) and Jared Wilson (ankle) have both been ruled out already , while Garrett Bradbury (illness) was listed as questionable . Vederian Lowe, Ben Brown, Caedan Wallace and Marcus Bryant are the current reserve options on the active roster.
James previously appeared in 46 games for the Los Angeles Chargers.
