Tuesday’s matchup between the dead-last Nashville Predators and the 31st-place Calgary Flames probably isn’t one that neutral fans are going to be cancelling plans to make sure they catch.

Must-see-TV is usually reserved for the teams at the top of the table, not the other end. Some fans in both markets may be rooting for their team to lose, given what it might mean in the draft lottery next spring.

An awful October put the Flames right in the Gavin McKenna sweepstakes, and the ever-growing chorus of Calgary hockey fans who are clamouring for a full teardown and tank got a lot louder.
