Corrie and Emmerdale are set to collide in January, in a catastrophically literal way. ITV have released a first look at the groundbreaking crossover episode, showing the two soaps iconic characters screaming for help.

In a teaser trailer released on YouTube on 1 December, it is revealed that Corriedale will focus on the aftermath of a disastrous multi-vehicle pile up that involves several of each soaps' favourite characters.
