House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) and the Republican National Committee accused Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) of deliberately allowing widespread fraud in a state-administered government assistance program to feed school children.

Seventy-eight people , the majority of whom are Somali asylum-seekers, were indicted on charges of defrauding the Feeding Our Future program of $250 million under Walz’s watch. Fraud from other social services raised the estimated amount stolen to over $1 billion.
