BROWNSTOWN — If you’ve been wanting to sew something practical, personal, and handmade, you’re in luck — Sewing Basics: Workshop Part 2 is just two days away. On Wednesday, December 3, participants will gather at the Purdue Extension Office in Jackson County from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to build on skills learned in the first class and create a fabric storage bucket to organize sewing tools, craft supplies, or household items.
Attendees should bring one yard of fabric if possible, along with basic sewing tools such as a machine, rotary cutter, seam ripper, and scissors. Tools will be available for those who do not have their own, and fabric will be provided if necessary, ensuring everyone can participate regardless of experience or materials.
