A Brooklyn man has claimed a $1 million prize off a winning scratch-off ticket.
Roman Klym won via the New York Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.
Klym opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment totaling $612,251 after required withholdings, according to officials.
The winning ticket was purchased at Al Tous, located at 6602 17th Ave. in Brooklyn.
As of this writing, there are 11 of the $1,000,000 prizes and two $5,000,000 prizes remaining on the VIP Millions ticket. Players can check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
