DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) - A cyber tip has led to the arrest of a man in Dubois County for child solicitation.

In October, the Huntingburg Police Department began an investigation after reviewing that tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police allege that Christopher E. Wilson, 51, was using Instagram to solicit a girl under the age of 16.

Officers say additional evidence of child solicitation and vicarious sexual gratification was also found through a search warrant and subpoena to electronic and internet service providers.

Monday afternoon, a search warrant was executed in Jasper and Wilson was taken into custody.

They say multiple electronic devices were seized and will be searched by a crime unit for additional evidence.
