GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt is out for the season.

Wyatt suffered an ankle injury on the defense’s final snap in the 31-24 victory over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

After the Packers lost veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark as part of the Micah Parsons trade from the Dallas Cowboys, Wyatt became the team’s most-productive interior defender. Despite missing some time this season due to injury, he had four sacks and 22 pressures over 379 snaps.

“He’s a guy that’s going to be pretty tough to replace,” LaFleur said. “And I think it just falls on everybody else kind of raising the level of their game.”
