A man was found dead in a creek on Saturday, Nov. 29, police announced.

Officers were called to the creek in the area behind Stanley Court in Aston around 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to Upper Chichester Township Police. Investigators were told there was a possibly deceased person in the water. They found a white man, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, lying on his back in the creek, according to the release on Monday, Dec. 1.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld until police can locate his family.

Investigators are asking residents in the Stanley Court area to share any suspicious activity they may have noticed, as well as any home surveillance footage from around the time of the incident, authorities said.
