Alberta has had 1,975 reported cases of the highly contagious disease since March
Alberta Health Services said Monday people who were at the Calgary International Airport Nov. 22 and Claresholm’s hospital two days later might have been exposed to measles.
AHS said a person confirmed to have measles flew Nov. 22 on KLM Flight 677 from Amsterdam to Calgary.

The person went through the Calgary International Airport’s international arrivals, customs and baggage claim areas. AHS says the exposure period at the airport was from 1:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. MST.
The individual also attended the Claresholm General Hospital emergency department on Nov. 24. People were potentially exposed to measles from 5:43 p.m. to 10:23 p.m.
