New Orleans Saints safety Justin Reid has the potential to "miss time" after he suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins, coach Kellen Moore said Monday.

Moore did not provide details on Reid's specific injury, but indicated the Saints could be without Reid for next weekend's road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"We'll see how that progresses," Moore said. "Obviously, (there's) a potential for some miss time there, but we'll let it progress."

Reid hurt his knee on the first play of Sunday's game. Though he briefly returned after missing three plays, the safety played only one more snap before leaving the field again. He was officially ruled out in the second half.
