TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The construction company involved in a fatal industrial accident in Pima County earlier this year has been fined.
JW Civil, which is based in Tucson, was fined a little more than $26,000 by OSHA.
According to OSHA, the company failed to protect the employees during an excavation, failed to ensure the slopes were built to the proper angles, and failed to check to make sure the power line was deenergized.
13 News has reached out to the company for comment on the fines.
