BALTIMORE —
Ravens cornerback Nate Wiggins is helping feed Baltimore families in need.
Wiggins donated his time and money to pack up fresh food for the United Way of Central Maryland on Monday. The boxes went to families in Baltimore's Poppleton neighborhood.
With the cost of food still high, the boxes are a welcome gift for the holiday season.
"We are giving out chicken and all the ingredients needed to make chicken fajitas today. It's extremely important to make sure that families are well-fed, especially during the holiday season. Today is an effort to make sure we can feed as many people as possible," said Beth Littrell, with the United Way of Central Maryland.
