Planet Fitness is opening a new location in west Plano, a company representative confirmed.

The new location is expected to open Dec. 21, the representative said.

The new fitness center will move into vacant retail space formerly occupied by Bed Bath & Beyond, near the intersection of Plano Parkway and Park Boulevard.
