LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Rain continues to slow push off to the east this morning, but we are left with areas of mist and drizzle at times.
We’ll slowly see some drier conditions arriving through the afternoon, but cloud cover will still be a big factor as sunshine remains limited.
Temperatures will be held in check as well with most locations only climbing back into the lower 50s.
Winds chills will be a pretty big factor at times as well as winds are gusting out of the north anywhere from 20 to 25 mph at times.
Make sure to keep the heavier jacket and the coat nearby as we head over the next several days as well as an even colder start is expected Wednesday morning.
