A wet coastal low will move up the NC coast on Tuesday, prompting widespread rain from sunrise to mid afternoon. Thunderstorms are unlikely outside of an isolated rumble along the coast. The storm will likely bring 1–2″ of rain for all areas, along with gusty winds at times. Temps will range from the 40s well inland to the the 60s along the coast.
The storm pulls away Tuesday night with colder, drier air settling in on Wednesday and Thursday before another system brings more rain chances back in on Friday. Highs will run generally in the 40s and 50s through Friday
