ANN ARBOR — It’s a good problem to have and Dusty May knows it. His Michigan men’s basketball team returned from Las Vegas not just richer but more respected, at least by various rankings.
The NCAA’s NET rankings, which are used for NCAA Tournament evaluation, made their season debut Monday morning. Michigan was No. 1 in the country. The Wolverines are also first on the sport’s most popular analytics site, kenpom.com. The Coaches Poll has them second; the AP Top 25 has them at No. 3 .
