Two of the sport's undeniable bluebloods square off in an early-season heavyweight fight when the Kentucky Wildcats (5-2) host the North Carolina Tar Heels (6-1) from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

Kentucky is still seeking its first big win of the season. In two chances, games against Louisville and Michigan State, the Wildcats fell short in both. North Carolina, which also lost to Michigan State, did pick up a win against Kansas earlier this season.

Does Kentucky's backcourt and guard play outplay UNC's frontcourt? That is what this game comes down to. For the Tar Heels, Caleb Wilson and Henri Veesar have been great. Wilson is averaging nearly 20 points and 10 boards per game, while Veesar is at 16 points and 8.3 rebounds.

The Wildcats guards are elite, though. Denzel Aberdeen, Otega Oweg, and Colling Chandler are each averaging double digits and shooting right around 50% from the field. Kentucky gets enough from the guards in this one to notch its first big-time statement win of the season, but not without stress.
