DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Tuesday! After a very wintry weekend and wintry start to the work week, we finally return to a quiet forecast today.
High pressure briefly returns today, and brings partially clearing skies and a light breeze. This will set us up for filtered sunshine this afternoon, with highs in the low 20s that feel more like teens. Tonight will be a similar story with temperatures that feel like the single digits, and clouds returning late.
We’ll wake up tomorrow morning cloudy as a weak cold front rolls in. By the afternoon, a few isolated snow showers will roll through, but it will be a pretty low impact event with only light snow and no accumulation expected.
Behind this front, some of the coldest air in the season will roll in.
