Atwater Village— Thousands of neighbors, families, and visitors will gather beneath Atwater Village’s iconic 75-foot Deodar Cedar for the 34th Annual Atwater Village Holiday Tree Lighting Festival, taking place Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Glendale Blvd & Perlita median.

Produced by the nonprofit Atwater Village Events, this beloved tradition remains entirely community-powered and sponsored by dozens of local businesses across Northeast LA, whose generosity keeps the festival free for all.

This year’s festival features an expanded lineup of youth performances, a bustling Holiday Market, three community competitions, Santa’s grand entrance, the return of the free Santa Photo Booth, and the long-awaited lighting of the Deodar Cedar.
