DEDHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — Day two of the Brian Walshe murder trial of brought testimony from a forensic expert and police recorded interviews with Walshe after his wife was reported missing.
Walshe is accused of murdering and dismembering his wife Ana in 2023 and placing her body in dumpsters through their hometown of Cohasset.
A Norfolk County District Attorney’s office forensic examiner testified in the trial Tuesday, along with a Cohasset police detective.
Recorded police interviews with the defendant were also played to the jury.
These interviews were conducted shortly after Ana Walshe was reported missing in January of 2023.
Walshe pleaded guilty to dismembering his wife’s body and misleading police, but maintains his innocence in her murder.
