WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Folks in Williamsport were out shoveling as the snow continued to slowly fall. Thanks to the winter storm, children got a day off from school — eager to get out and enjoy the fluffy white stuff.
"That's all they wanted to do all morning, woke us straight up, saw snow, came up, woke us up, came out and did the sidewalks, cleaned the car off," said Nick Wilton, Williamsport.
"Snowman, way better than that, build snowmen, that's all we're going to do," said Addie Askins, Williamsport.
This is the first major snowfall to hit the Williamsport area. While others were having fun in the snow, residents shoveled their sidewalks and driveways.
