BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - B-Alert traffic and weather advisories have been temporarily halted because of a cybersecurity breach at OnSolve CodeRED, the private system Biloxi uses to send those alerts.
That company is advising B-Alert users to change their passwords if the same password was used for other personal or business accounts.
A system spokesperson says an organized cybercriminal group has claimed responsibility.
CodeRED is working to transfer the city’s account to a new platform.
