The Philadelphia Flyers will be missing a big winger for a good chunk of the season.

Tyson Foerster will be sidelined two to three months with an upper-body injury, the team announced Tuesday.

Foerster skated off the ice in pain after unloading on a one-timer in the second period on Monday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The six-foot-two Foerster, 23, has 10 goals and three assists in 21 games this season. He had a career-best 25 goals and 18 assists in 81 games last season.

The Barrie Colts prospect was picked in the first round (23rd overall) by the Flyers in the 2020 NHL Draft.
