MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — After a shooting in Muskegon Heights on Saturday, Nov. 22, multiple Muskegon County law enforcement agencies jumped in to help apprehend the suspect . Now, the Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office has identified that suspect as Willie Bradford Dowdell.
Dowdell has been charged with homicide- attempted murder, weapons carrying concealed and felony firearms in one case against him. He's also facing charges in another case relating to his arrest, those charges are assault and battery/resisting and obstructing a person performing duty causing injury, as well as three charges of assault/battery/resisting/opposing person performing duty. He is also being charged as a habitual offender.
