The Grammy winner's engagement to Maxx Morando was confirmed on Dec. 2 after she stepped out for the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere wearing a ring on that finger. And as the couple embark on this new journey together following four years of dating, it seemed like the perfect time to look back on everything the singer's said about tying the knot in the past.

And for Miley—who finalized her divorce from Liam Hemsworth in 2020 following less than two years of marriage and 10 years together—walking down the aisle was never a necessity.
