GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - An East Carolina University online nursing certificate program was highly ranked in the state by a leading nursing resource.

RegisteredNursing.org has recognized ECU’s online post-graduate certificate program as the second best in North Carolina for next year, a runner-up to Duke University. In third place is the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

According to a news release, nurses are facing workforce shortages and rising patient needs, making ECU’s programs crucial in preparing graduates to enter the healthcare system.
