After many customer concerns and frustrations, Audubon Institute is pausing the sale of memberships.
Audubon posted an advisory on its website Tuesday saying: Advertisement
"We are temporarily pausing the sale of memberships in order to develop more cost-effective alternatives in addition to the Audubon All Access Membership."
The statement goes on to say that it hopes to have those plans available by mid-December and plans to communicate those options with members and stakeholders.
This comes after many membership holders found out on Black Friday that their yearly membership cost would nearly double.
Many residents took to social media, saying they used to pay $250 for a membership to Audubon, which includes entry to the zoo, aquarium and discounts on yearly events.
