According to our friends over at Universal Hub , the Boston Licensing Board is sorting through a saga involving late-night pushups, barstools, and a dramatic exit at Clock Tavern on West Broadway.
Here’s the breakdown: In the early hours of September 3rd, two patrons reportedly decided the middle of the bar was the perfect place to drop down and do some pushups. (As jabronis do.) Staff asked them to knock it off, the bartender stopped serving them, and, despite one guy declaring he could “do whatever the **** he wants,” the bar staff let them stay until closing.
