Little Rock police on Monday arrested a man charged in the January 2023 killing of a 17-year-old, a police news release states.
Deshun Acker, 21, faces capital murder and aggravated robbery charges in the Jan. 5, 2023, shooting of Carnelius Williams, 17, of Little Rock, the release states. Williams died of his wounds at UAMS Medical Center after the shooting near the intersection of Chicot and Depriest roads.
Acker pleaded innocent Tuesday morning to the murder and robbery counts in Little Rock District Court, court records show. He also pleaded innocent to charges of kidnapping and theft of property obtained by threat of serious physical injury, the records show.
