Jess Vestal is in recovery.

The Love Is Blind alum shared that she was recently hospitalized after she and her 12-year-old daughter Autumn came down with bad cases of the flu.

"Friends I've been MIA for the last couple days because the flu wiped our household completely out," Jess wrote in a Dec. 2 Instagram Story alongside a photo of her lying on a bed in a doctor's office. "I've never been so sick in my entire life and that's saying A LOT."

For the 30-year-old—who appeared on season six of the Netflix dating show—the flu is particularly difficult to recover from due to her Crohn's disease diagnosis, a chronic bowel condition that causes inflammation in the digestive tract, most often affecting the intestines, according to Mayo Clinic .
