CATAWISSA, Pa. — For the 23rd time, the Southern Columbia Tigers are playing for a state championship. Last season, the Tigers try for an 8th straight 2A championship was ended in the district 4 playoffs against Troy.

This year, Southern's standards were met and the Tigers are on the hunt for another state title.

"I knew that we could definitely make it back, but there was a lot of just like outlying factors that, maybe we might not just because of this and that, but I mean, we really clicked one week in the season and ever since that, I think we're the best team in the state for sure," said Brayden Andrews.

"We've had a ton of fun this season. I mean, I think compared to the past 3 years, I think this is the most fun I've had. Playing football, and we're just, it's like a brotherhood,
