WASHINGTON — Attorneys representing survivors of abuse by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein say the public release of documents from the Justice Department and the Epstein estate has exposed the identities of dozens of survivors and caused “significant emotional distress.”
In a letter filed in the Southern District of New York last week, attorneys Bradley Edwards and Brittany Henderson argue it’s a problem that must be fixed before more records are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The letter said that the attorneys “have diligently and repeatedly brought this issue to Congress, and the source of the problem, we are told, lies with the Department of Justice.”
