CHISHOLM, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting the Chisholm Police Department with an “active investigation” on the Iron Range.

According to the Chisholm Police Department’s Facebook post Tuesday afternoon, no specific details are being shared at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigative process.

Authorities said there is no threat to the public, but law enforcement asks community members to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
