The change from Billy Napier to Jon Sumrall as Florida football coach this week has created slight uncertainty heading into Early National Signing Day for the 2026 class heading on Dec. 3.

The Florida Gators enter the Early NSD with 18 commitments but could lose some due to the coaching change. Sumrall has done his best to get on zoom calls with current commitments and families over the last two days to keep the class that ranks 16th nationally per 247Sports intact.
