LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police are still searching for one of two people they say were involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Taylor Boulevard on Sunday. The crash killed a seven-year-old girl and sent her grandmother to the hospital with several broken bones.
“I don’t get to have Christmas with her,” Madison Marie Fisher’s mother, Connie DeWitt, told WAVE News. “She didn’t deserve this. She didn’t deserve any of this.”
Madison’s family should be planning for Christmas. However, they’re spending their days planning the little girl’s funeral.
“She was so full of love, and life, forgiveness, grace,” her aunt, Stephanie DeWitt, said. “She was so perfect in every way possible.”
According to police, a juvenile male was driving at a high speed when he hit a utility pole
