Man sentenced in deadly shooting of Fairfield man in 2023

A man was sentenced in the deadly shooting of a Fairfield man in 2023.

Court documents show Timothy Lee Williams was sentenced Dec. 1 to 30 years in prison.

The sentence was handed down in relation to the death of Rodger Davis, 65, who was found shot at a home in the 600 block of 13th Street Ensley in Birmingham.

A motion for a new trial was filed in the case, but the judge denied that motion.
